Alexa was our server and she was great!!! Had a great time on New Year's Eve at black bear diner! We had: All meat omelet: 8 out of 10 hash browns good needs some salt and eggs were a bit overcooked but all in all good taste. Parmesan hamburger and sweet potato fries: 9 out of 10z. The sweet potato fries were amazing and hot! That was 10 out of 10z. Burger was cooked well and the Dijon just added the right taste. Cubs Mac and cheese: 10 out of 10. Kraft is the best for my child but super cheesy! Fries were good but need to be more hot. Even got a free sundae. 1 egg breakfast with pancakes and sausage: 10 out of 10! All good! Sausage was good and pancakes good! Fast seating and not loud! Service was good!
Got a Christmas Eve dinner here of turkey, mashed potato's, a salad, and had a pumpkin pie for desert and it was soooo delicious. They always make really good 3 course holiday meals here and I recommend them
For being Xmas there attitude was amazing food was great good stuff well deserved to come back they are great
Tried the Taste of Tropics menu tonight! The pina coloda pancakes are HUGE! Value! Luau Crispy Chicken was my favorite. Second time here in a month. Place is great value and service is great. Special shoutout to Jose! He was super attentive, accommodating, and patient. Our group wanted the sauces on the side and we had a friend with an egg allergy. Jose took care of us. Heads up, the Island Breakfast Tacos looks different from the menu photo. It includes egg and the meat is different. Make sure to double check with the server/cook on how it's made. I think maybe the cook wasn't familiar with this new seasonal item.
Had a great experience here! I often get their Bears Choice because I love their eggs, and this time around I got the waffle with cream and strawberries ($4 extra)! It was delicious and so tasty! Everything is always fairly priced and every year on your birthday, you get a free Bears Choice!
